Much LOVE to each of you!

Praying always and always praying in the Spirit can be accomplished by ever acknowledging the Person of the Holy Spirit, listening as He directs and leads you. He loves people and knows the will of God in every situation at all times. He will always motivate and direct you to pray in the way that ushers in the will of God and the reign of King Jesus. How awesome is that!!!

Keep praying and always pray in the Spirit.

Is change possible in the Harbor or is this as good as it gets? Will the economy always lag behind the rest of the counties in Washington? Are depression, darkness and the recent teen suicides just ‘life in the Harbor’? Is real change possible or attainable? Can the Harbor be transformed from a place to avoid or get away from to the place everyone wants to come to and stay?

YES IT CAN and YES IT WILL!

How can I say that and know that it will happen? Because you and I and all HIS Church throughout the county has been placed here for just such a destiny. The pillar and ground of truth – the salt and light – GOD’S own people and the gates of hell will not prevail against us! Yes it can and yes the Harbor will change for our FATHER loves every soul in this place, our King JESUS gave HIS life for each and every one of them and has defeated the darkness. HIS resurrection and ascension declares JESUS CHRIST is the Victor and all angels, authorities and powers have been made subject to HIM! HIS is the power and authority in heaven and here on earth right here in the Harbor – now our part is to be… praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— Ephesians 6:18

Prayer, strong, faith filled ongoing prayer in the SPIRIT. Prayer can and will transform the Harbor.

For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith. The Gospel transforms the lives of all who believe. Those who believe the good news of Jesus Christ have the righteousness of God planted in their hearts as the Lord delivers each from darkness and places them into the Kingdom of the Son of His love filled with the light of His glory. Each believer is transformed from the inside out as they work with the Holy Spirit who restores their soul into the image of God. God is light and God is love! The more we fellowship with the Holy Spirit, that is the more we walk with, yield to, are lead by and work with the Holy Spirit the more our lives are transformed into light and love. If ever the world needed light and love it is now! The world needs you and me and all the Church to live a proclamation of the Gospel that clearly expresses His light and His love. Your neighbor is waiting for the light to guide them to the love – The Gospel of Christ is the power of God to salvation!

“When we care enough about the pain behind human need, regardless of the causes, we will get desperate with God in prayer.”

This quote from the book, “Intercession, Thrilling and Fulfilling” authored by my friend Joy Dawson, searches the heart. Do you, do I, do we care enough? I know we care, we care deeply! Turn that caring into prayer, let’s get desperate with God in prayer believing Him to intervene and break through and bring this next generation of youth into His Kingdom. Remember our heavenly Father hurts for each one of them, cares for each one and desires everyone of them to be redeemed. He is passionate for them, His Son died to prove it!

Begin by thanking Him. Thank Him that because He cares so deeply for them He has plans to deliver and heal this generation! Father God fill our hearts with love for this generation and use us in any way You choose for the outworking of those plans and the fulfillment of their destinies.

“Arise, cry out in the night, at the beginning of the watches; pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord. Lift up your hands toward Him for the life of your children, who faint from hunger at the head of every street.” Lamentations 2:19

Tomorrow also begins our church family prayer and fast week as we unitedly seek the Lord for ‘breakthrough’! Spiritual breakthrough in our personal lives, in our families, our GHFC family, in our communities and around the globe; asking, seeking, knocking knowing that our heavenly Father will answer us as we find His way and He opens doors no one can close. Luke 11:1-13

Looking forward to being with you as we seek the Lord together in the morning celebration service – come expecting His presence and let’s enthrone King jesus together in our praises.

Speaking of ice and church, we had the front parking lot and driveway of the church cleared of snow on Thursday. So with the rain and warmer temps clearing away most of the rest of the snow getting to church service tomorrow is safe and easy. It will be great to all be together in worship, the Word and fellowship see you all there – 10:00am
